She then tries to use her power to get into Dorians mind to make him give her the keys. We never saw she got it anything out of it. Essentially, her lack of fear of him enables her to see him as he truly is and treat him as an equal, as a regular person. DAMN IT. It is a slap in the face for Aelin to be back here. This is the first time he has felt her since the beach in Eyllwe. They make each other happy, and it is strongly hinted at the end . Lysandra flies them to the battlefield and while Yrene draws Erawan away from Maeve, Elide ambushes him and stabs him with Damaris, pinning him to the ground. Maeve backed away all of a step.
